Daily Mail Holiday Parks promotion in association with Break Free Holidays offers discounted trips in the UK and Europe. These types of discounted holiday offers have been around for years in local and national newspapers such as the Daily Mail and The Sun. So, if you fancy the likes of Butlins or Haven, or a quiet trip to the Devon or Cornwall coast, this is a great, affordable way to do it.
This is a holiday hack that my family members have been using for years. I personally took advantage of this holiday promotion after having a family of my own and wanted an affordable holiday, within my budget.
After collecting our Daily Mail codes, we booked a short break to Butlins Minehead. I wouldn’t exactly call it a break for me and my view of Butlins was definitely through the rose-tinted glasses of an eight-year-old. However, our son Dylan (who was 2 years old) had so much fun and there were lots of activities for him to do. Plus he got to meet his idols, Paw patrol.
Like any UK holiday, the weather is always going to be a factor. Fortunately, at Butlins Minehead, there was plenty of indoor activities for the children to do. The food at the onsite restaurants wasn’t cheap, especially if you’re going every day. Therefore, I’d recommend bringing your own supplies to make some meals in your accommodation. Our cabin had a well-equipped kitchen, with everything you’d need to make your family meals.

Choose Your Dates
When booking your discounted holiday online it’s simple. Just pick your date and park. Understandably, it’s rare you will find any deals available during peak seasons such as children’s half-term or Summer Holiday due to their popularity and not all locations are available on all dates. The accommodation prices do vary depending on the type of unit you select and your chosen holiday start date.
Applying by post is a little more tricky, as you will need to pick 4 dates and 4 parks, and hope you will get one of your selections.
How long are the holidays?
UK holidays are either weekdays, Monday to Friday (4 nights), or weekends, Friday to Monday (3 nights). However, multiple breaks can also be booked to make a longer holiday. If you make multiple bookings you may be required to move accommodation during your stay, so just check with the holiday park to discuss.
European holiday are available for any duration from 4 to 14 nights.
Choose Your Park
UK holiday accommodation will be a choice of caravans, chalets or apartments from 170 holiday parks.
TIP: If you’re unsure which park to choose and need help, I would recommend checking review websites such as TripAdvisor. Daily Mail also provides a FREE pull out of holiday parks, with a list of their facilities.
